Our grandson

While sitting in Zihuatenjo Bay on Monday evening we received a phone call from our son in law that we had been expecting to get in early March. Our newest member of family decided he wanted to join the real world six weeks early so he could get a fast start on growing up. Not sure what the hurry was but we are thrilled to welcome him.

Di was on the Internet booking a flight within an hour of receiving the wonderful news and in the Cayman Islands less than 36 hours after delivery. Not easy to find flights between two such gorgeous vacation spots but it could be done.

Rog is bringing the boat back to either Bara de Navidad or Puerto Vallarta by himself so he can fly out to meet the new grandson. It will be a tough task but well worth it. He is schedualed to get the sail repaired in Bara on Feb 14 th which is the same day he will fly out

Bottom line, Di's Dream is going be second fiddle to our first grand baby and the blogs may all be about him for awhile. Rog is still planning to do the Banderas Bay Regatta in early March before taking a second trip to visit Nicholas. Di is going to be helping our daughter for awhile, really she is going to get a lot of cuddle time with baby but don't let Jen know that. We will return to the boat early April and prepare for our trip up the Sea of Cortez where we will be until sometime in June. No definit plans for the summer just yet other than home is calling to us.

We can still be reached by phone or email while playing with Nicholas down in the Caymans so do not hesitate to let us know what is going on at home. We miss all our friends.
